If there was ever a diva's entrance, that's one!
I own this movie, but it's got to be one of the worst pictures ever written and directed by Joe Mankiewicz. It's nothing but over blown camp and I love it.
Edu - My favourite moment is right at the end, when she gives Caesar a little wink. God, if I were him, I would have taken her right up the sphinx...
Curious - You'd better believe it. I've been watching it on youtube over a period of weeks, and I keep coming back for more. This is the second Mankiewicz film I've seen ("All About Eve", of course), and I want more!
If you want more Mankiewicz, you should 5 Fingers with James Mason although I think it might me called something else in the UK. Or you should see his last movie that he didn't write but directed, Sleuth with Olivier and Caine at their most smarmiest.
